The first photo is a semi-recent photo of the 2 wonderful reasons why I'm a SAHM. Since I last blogged so much has happened!! We've met so many fantastic new friends, caught up with some old and dear ones, and had a first birthday celebration for Mijo. He went to town with his chocolate chocolate chip cake that was frosted with chocolate! Yes, we went all out!

The first week

I never ever thought that I'd be a mom, never mind one that would choose to stay home with her kids. But that's the choice I (and we) have made. As I write this post, it's only the beginning of day 3. I don't have any plans for this blog yet, just that I'd like to have some way to document, remember, journal, etc. about the time I have at home with my 2 wonderful kids. Maybe one day they'll discover this and be able to see it for themselves.
